About.Wasik Construction was founded 20 years ago by Daniel "Boone" Wasik. After coaching and sharing his passion of football with thousands of kids around the Texas area and winning a State Title, Coach Wasik retired from his life-long career and put 100% of his focus on the family business, now ran by his son, Russell Wasik.

Russell "Rusty" Wasik
Owner / Operator
Rusty comes from generations of skilled construction professionals. As a child, Rusty was exposed to early training, aka "free labor" opportunities to learn every trade while attending school and playing football. Working on a jobsite was a normal past time for Rusty, as early as he can remember.
As the son of a football coach, the Wasik family lived in many Texas towns where Rusty set his sights on playing football and coaching with his dad, while his mom taught school and was the cheerleading sponsor. Rusty graduated from Salado High School in 1997 where he earned All-American honors two times. Rusty went on to play for Navarro Junior College and Sam Houston State University, where he earned his bachelor's degree.
Rusty's career has been centered around construction and winning. There is no project too big or too small to tackle!
Rusty and his wife, Jill reside in Salado, TX. Go Eagles!
